MELISSA HART (Master Class Teacher) is a veteran of several Broadway musicals
including Candide, The Scarlet Pimpernel,
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Apple Tree, and Georgy for which she received a Tony nomination for Best Supporting
Actress in a Musical for her role as Meredith.
She played Sally Bowles in the first national company of Cabaret and then replaced Anita Gillette
in its Broadway run. She also portrayed Fran Kubelik opposite Tony
Roberts in the national tour of Promises,
Promises. Off-Broadway: Radio Gals
at the John Houseman Theatre, Tock Tick
at the West End Theatre, and the award-winning Fleet Week at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. She garnered the Joseph Jefferson Award for
her role as Amy in the Chicago-based production of Company. Ms. Hart is a
member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, the New York Singing
Teachers’ Association, Actors’ Equity, and the Screen Actors’
Guild.
