MARK BRAMBLE (Librettist of Lily & Lily) was nominated for a 2001 Tony Award for directing the revival of 42nd Street. He began his theatrical career working for legendary producer David Merrick. Mr. Bramble has directed 42nd Street in London, Tokyo, Sydney and Amsterdam. He is the librettist for the musicals Barnum (Tony Award nomination for Best Book) and The Three Musketeers. He and co-author Michael Stewart have written books for the musicals The Grand Tour, Treasure Island, Elizabeth & Essex and 42nd Street. He has directed the Rock ’n’ Roll extravaganza Fat Pig for the Leicester Haymarket Theatre in England; an adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel Notre Dame at Saddler’s Wells in London; and created the radio musical In With The Old for the BBC. Mr. Bramble is a member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, The Association for Press Agents & Managers, and the Dramatists Guild.
