Annie Funke

ANNIE FUNKE is spending the fall of 2012 in NYC alongside Jake Gyllenhall in the new play If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet.  She made her Broadway debut in 2008 as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. As the Tracy standby for the show’s final year, her "mothers" included Harvey Fierstien and George Wendt.  In 2009, Annie joined the San Francisco cast of Wicked as an ensemble member and cover for Oscar winner Patty Duke (Madam Morrible). Off-Broadway, she was recently seen as Catherine Martin/Senator Martin in Silence! The Musical.  Annie is an alumni of the Stepwnwolf School in Chicago, and has worked around the country at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Music Theatre of Wichita, Casa Mañana, STAGES St. Louis and Riveraide Theatre, as well as overseas in China!
